Weekends?

Hi everyone, I'm going 27th April - 4th May & am currently trying to do an itinerary for my trip.

Usually I would avoid parks on a weekend & plan a shopping day or Discovery Cove, but since we are only going for a week this time we have a lot to cram in and don't want to waste a day.

I have everyday planned out apart from the Friday & Saturday - we want to do Volcano Bay and Busch Gardens but can't decide which way round to do it. I've heard weekends at water parks are very busy, but I've never done BG on a Saturday so not sure if that will be very busy with locals too.

Any advice? Thanks 🙂

The busy day guides are a great place to plan which parks to visit based on crowd levels.

Water Parks can be heaving at the weekends, especially if the weather is awesome.

Definitely avoid Volcano Bay on a Saturday unless you have early park entry.
I've done BG on a Saturday before and it was quiet to moderate at the worst. Think we went on a Saturday in April too, outside the Easter holidays so probably very similar to you.

May even see you out there as we travel on 23/04

Thanks both, definitely think we'll avoid VB on the Saturday & try BG!

We've only done VB once, was a weekday in November just gone and as it was only about 23 degrees it was so quiet - everything was a walk on. Don't think we'd enjoy it quite so much if it's heaving.

I think that's a good decision. We are doing Volcano Bay on a Saturday but only because we have the extra hour in the morning, come 11am it will be heaving and i'll be ready to go!
