Where would you stop on the way back to Miami airport?

So flight home is at 5.30pm from Miami. Plan is to leave villa early and get to Miami for lunch but would prefer to stop somewhere nice for lunch before heading to the airport. I�ve got no idea when I look at the map!

Any ideas on good, fairly easy places to get to near the coast en route to Miami airport? !

We stopped off for lunch at a waterside restaurant in Port Salerno on the way back to Miami last year.

Depending on how much time you have sawgrass mills is an option.

Lots of lovely resorts with beachside restaurants along the way we like Vero Beach... or break the journey far closer somewhere like West Palm Beach.

Thanks for the tips. Was hoping for something about 30-60 mins from Miami airport as we need to check in from 2pm. Deerfield beach might be a shout though.

We stopped off at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel Hollywood. This is the new guitar hotel and it has free self parking and loads of options for food. Approximately 40 mins from Miami Airport and quite easy to get to. Great for Instagram photos too!

Mulligans at Lauderdale by the sea, we usually stop at the Vero Beach one as the location is one of our favourite in Florida, but there is a branch in Lauderdale by the Sea, we're staying there in August so will try that. We also like Burger Craze in Deerfield Beach, next to the Wyndham hotel.
