I just received this email from Disney

We are reaching out about the recent MagicBand order you made through My Disney Experience. Due to strong popularity, fulfillment of your order has been delayed. Thank you for your patience; we are working hard to fulfill your order as soon as possible.≈≈

So fingers crossed we will all get our orders sorted soon.

Did you also get an email saying bands were being shipped to your resort? We did so I’m wondering if I should expect this email too or if I need to call Disney.

Hi, my previous email was the magic band purchase confirmation which said resort Hotel delivery at the bottom of it.

I am not convinced they know what they are doing at the moment as they have not taken payment but am going to give them a while to hopefully sort themselves out! If nothing changes on MDE will try and phone them.

Could it be shipped to the resort, like the plain ones? Or is there no option to change the delivery address?

I’m in the same situation. I’ve selected an alternative magic band and typed in Old Key West as my address. I’ve not completed the order as there is nowhere to put my reservation number and I’m concerned that it will not be clear who the band belongs to.

I’ve received the same email but unfortunately it doesn’t say which Magic band is out of stock so I don’t know who I’d be ordering for. I was going to just get it shipped to the resort but would be mad if I had to pay the $5-6 they charge for that. I’m considering keeping the grey and just using my magic band skin but the whole thing is maddening that they’re now not allowing me to choose another plain coloured one. I feel a complaint coming on.

Put your arrival date and reservation number in the address field.

Mde is showing the correct ones for Hubby and Son, and mine is showing a plain red band, to be honest,I think I may just wait and see,I will be happy if its red but if its grey I will just buy another!
