Twitter and student room shows the consensus was that it was an awful exam so hopefully the grade boundaries will be lower - just going to be a long wait now. My son needs AAB for his biochemistry course but...who knows what he’ll get.

At the moment he’s just delighted to have finished and said what ever grades he gets he’ll not repeat this year. He’s currently packing for his first ‘lads’ holiday on Friday. Something else for me to worry about 🙄

I am sorry the chemistry exam was horrible. Seems to be a bit of a theme for the A levels this year

Hopefully the grade boundaries will be lower.

Such a shame when these kids put in the work and the exams don't seem to even cover the bulk of the material they have carefully revised. (One of ours up in Scotland (Scottish Higher) was the same, with lots of unhappy students after )

However, if everyone is feeling the same it clearly isn't a lack of revision, so hopefully the grade boundaries will reflect the results achieved by the candidates
