Mobile CBR Room request?

2 questions Dibbers.

We have 2 rooms across 2 bookings. Is it still worth putting in a room request? I guess nothing to lose.

And second question, where should we request? We have young ish kids and priorities would be 1) quiet room of an evening and 2) near to the main pool.

We are booked in standard room which i appreciate might mean 2 is not possible or very limited.

Thanks!

You have 2 area options for a standard room: Jamaica and Aruba. Both areas have quiet pools, but I feel Jamaica is a bit closer to the main area for the pool, food court etc. Both are a walk over the bridge and Castaway Cay which has a little play area that your little ones might like. Aruba is closer to the building work at The Riviera, so I'd choose Jamaica personally.

Great, thank you.

I think I’m going to request Jamaica, does anyone know how we contact them for this?
Thanks

We have stayed in the Aruba area, block 51, it was a good position in that it was away from the main hub, so quiet in the evenings, with only a short walk across the bridge to use the central facilities (dining, mugs, feature pool).
The bus service was sometimes annoying with a few internal stops before it gets to you. We often got off the bus from the Parks at "Port Royale", filled our mugs up then walked back over the bridge to go back to room.
Aruba should be well positioned for the Skyliner service once it opens, although I understand another loading station is being constructed close to Jamaica. It will be interesting to see how this affects "preferred room" status for pricing etc.
Have a great time!

You can add it to your on-line check in request on My Disney App, however I think this has to be done at least 60 days in advance, so this wouldn't be an option for you?
In the good ole days we used to send a fax!
I will assume you don't have a fax machine, although you can use one of the free "fax services" on the net. You are aiming to put your request "For the attention of the room assigner, about 7 to 10 days before you arrive.

Another option is to call them via the customer services number (this takes a while sometimes) or maybe direct to the hotel.

I think the numbers are:
Caribbean Beach. 407-934-3400. Fax - 407-934-2736.

Hope that helps!
