Anybody else moving house before Christmas?

I really need to get organised 😂

It’s only occurred to me today that I’ll need to deal with Christmas presents and wrapping etc whist moving 😂

Barring unforeseen delays we should be moving the week before Christmas which only leaves me a few days to unpack as much as possible and get Christmas decorations up.

I’ve decided it’s not worth putting them up in both houses and we may as well wait and just put them up at the new house. It’ll be strange seeing everyone’s decorations going up around us and our house looking bare.

I’ve already had the realisation tonight that the Tesco slots I’ve got booked need sorting and I might lose the delivery I have for 23rd Dec. Will be calling Tesco tomorrow to see if there’s anything they can do.

Have also just realised that I’ve preordered some gifts for dd that are due before Christmas but don’t have a delivery date yet. So I’ll have to keep an eye on that.

I think I really need to get the present shopping finished ASAP so that I’m not worrying about delivery.

We are moving just after. So will need to take all the new pressies with us

We moved to our current house mid December, it was fine - just a little more organisation required.
