DDP with giant kids

Hi my youngest boy is very tall/big for his age (11 years old, 5ft 8in, 10 stone) and as such eats more than I do. We have the quick service dining plan booked for this year and have read that the new rules regarding children only getting child portions only applies to children upto 10. Is this true?

If so does he get adult credits like the rest of us?

I'm sure we are having to pay more for our 12 year old, or was that to do with flights only.

Any help would be great thanks.

Hi- Yes in Disney anyone over 10 is classed as an adult!

A Disney “adult” is 10 or older so yes you’ll get adult credits.

Yes the extra for 12 plus is for flights. He is classed as an adult by Disney

Children aged 10 and above are basically adults in Disney madness and pay the same price for their tickets and meal plans as actual genuine adults. So your son is on adult dining credits.

It just goes off the Disney ticket. If it’s a child ticket you get a child meal, adults ticket you will get an adults meal.
All children 10 and above need an adult ticket (crazy lol) so your son will get adult credits due to his adult ticket
