Yeah, it was the original I sent. I assume the clerk had never come across a Florida marriage certificate before and to them it looked like a copy but you’d think they would have notes on how to check and what to look for on them for each country/state.

It is possible all the paper work is scanned and work is allocated digitally to an agent to review / action. Hence the initial issue!
