Can’t find it again. Maybe I’ve been mistaken but was sure I saw something somewhere. Sorry. Try pm magnificent or another Dibb owner. They will have more experience than me and hopefully can help you. Sorry I can’t be more helpful. Best of luck.

That’s the only ones I could find but I was trawling through 4000 pages of licences as nothing was coming up

If I’m bored later I trawl through the whole lot just to make sure...

These were listed under his name and a rental name. I searched under his wife too

He wasn’t paying his taxes properly when these licences expired

No response from him yet but to be honest I don’t think he will

I just hope that the names and dates of other people that he said had booked his villa are fake for their sake

I message someone who posted in this thread in January as they had said they had booked it but I have had no response

Edited at 03:18 PM.

The remaining balance he was willing to refund on the basis that he could secure another booking

As to the remaining balance I told him I want it refunded back to me within 7 days or I will start small claims proceedings

How is he going to secure another booking when he has admitted he hasn’t got it listed anywhere?

And also I don’t trust him whether he would admit to having another booking and not tell me the truth and keep the money

Anyway - final deadline is next Thursday - no response yet from the email last night

As he seems to think deadlines don’t mean anything and he can do what he likes I will email him a copy of the court papers Thursday morning so he knows I mean business
Good luck following this up... let us know how you get on

Ok so I retracted my agreed offer of loss of deposit and requested all my money back in full and sending him screenshots of his taxes owed and expired licence

Deadline is 9am tomorrow morning!

And no response whatsoever after my email sent early hours of Saturday morning so it looks like I’m going to court!

Pity him though as I’m like a dog with a bone and if I can take on and win a case lasting 2 years with a big company like Npower I’m not afraid to take on someone who should not be letting their villa out and breaking Florida state law as well

Just gutted we won’t get our money back before we go but such is life - wish I’d known about the checks I could of done but everyday is a school day as they say

Thank you everyone for your input

Your choice but if you let him know it just might spur them on to issue you your refund.

You could also let him know that you are reporting him to the DPBR for having an unlicensed rental.
