Miami hotels - too many to choose
Flying into Miami in July, looking for hotel for 8 people for 1 night. Have no idea which area is best to stay or what hotel chain to use...

We’ve booked a airport hotel right by the airport and then driving up the next day. Breakfast included. Cost about £100 for the night at the time of booking. Think it’s the Comfort Suites.

Holiday Inn Miami Doral isn’t that far from the airport has a car park (no charge to park) and there’s a Doral Ale House (like Millers/Orlando Ale House) across the car park. We’ve often stayed on IHG points but think it’s c£100 for a family room for a night. It’s easy to get out of Miami the next morning and a couple of blocks along there’s a huge Walmart for the car picnic goodies for the drive to Orlando 😉

Was wondering if too noisy near airport? Will look at both but other places I have looked at seem quite pricey.

We always stay in the comfort suites north. 5 mins from airport. Subway or mcdees 5 minute walk away. Nice breakfast and about £58 a night. 👍🏻

I just put my dates into trivago then go onto map view and see who isn't charging crazy money.
Then out of those I check there are no parking fees. Then I book one that is cancellable though a cashback site and keep an eye on the prices. Or I might use some Tesco points to offset the cost a bit. Last year we ended up in the Hilton Garden by the Dolphin Mall. I booked it in May for August. A lot of the hotels include breakfast but we knew we'd be away before then and I didn't want to pay for something we weren't going to have. |

We stayed at The Hampton Inn and Suites at Blue Lagoon. Free parking or shuttle, free breakfast and tea and coffee. Lovely pool and a great area to walk out in the evening as there are loads of places to eat. Would thoroughly recommend, it always scores highly on Trip Advisor.

We stayed at the Sheraton just across from the airport. Was great and no noise.

Thanks, still looking, seems a bit more expensive than I thought it would be.
