yeah, overnight isnt really going to dry it out fully. rice isnt *that* good a dessicant!

also, if you have kitty litter, use that instead, its much better than rice

also, put the tub its in somewhere warm, like on a windowsill above a radiator, or (even better) use a dehumidifier instead.

Ah ok, well it's still in the rice now on the windowsill (not that we get much sun at the moment!) so hopefully it might dry out some more. Thank you

I might be wrong but I am sure that I read that with Sky contracts, you are essentially ‘renting’ the phone and as such send it back at the end?- that might explain the low price?- does anyone have a Sky deal?

Me,I would get the best model you can- this doesn’t have to be the newest but IMO, you need at least the 8. They have wireless charging too if that makes a difference to you.

Are there consequences to claiming on the phone insurance?- I would be inclined to claim on it and put this towards your new one.

So don’t upgrade directly with o2 they are a bunch of ripoff merchants! (It’s to do with the way they work their airtime tariff)
I would look at an 8 or 11 - the 8 is the last ‘smaller’ one really, as the 11 pro is stupid expensive and the x series ones are bigger (well as is the 11 Tbf)
The 8 (and 7) basically are like your 6s with a better camera and faster, but will be supported by Apple a lot longer so you shouldn’t have to change again for a few more years, you could most certainly get a 6s or 7, but Apple are likely to drop ios updates for the 6s in the next 2 years (it will still update I believe but they will only be security patches).

If you don’t want to buy out of your o2 sim only (and your happy with your deal) head to Apple and you can do a pay monthly for the handset with them (or at least for the 8 or higher you can). O2 will force you onto one of their stupid new refresh contracts, meaning you pay £20 an month for the airtime portion, which sim only costs £10. Or look at mobiles.co.uk/carphone warehouse, for a new o2 contract (but not direct with o2)
Otherwise there are some good deals on mobiles and carphone for other networks also.
I did do extensive research before doing as I have advised above, I now pay £38 per month for my iPhone 11 for the next 24 months - £27 is to Apple, £11 to o2 sim only.

Oh yer don’t be tempted by o2’s 36 month ‘deals’ the phone costs the same, you just get stung for airtime for longer!

Would you consider a used phone.
My OH and I are thinking of upgrading to the iPhone 8 and you can get these for just over £200 when I looked a month ago.

Sounds interesting. So likely near £400 in the UK. Maybe a few quid cheaper.
