I don't use the word knob in those circumstances - my word is worse (assuming I'm alone in car).

I say thank you to my Alexa and to my lift at home when it tells me I have reached my floor (every time - I am mad/eccentric/British- all 3 !)

I get the train ones, i did exactly that with pressing the button multiple times yesterday but i prefer the button exits to the handle outside the door ones.. i am always scared of not being able to reach and being stuck on the train
