Best biography of Walt Disney?
My daughter has just asked for a biography on Walt for her birthday (just returned from California and did the walk in Walts footsteps tour and she wants to learn more).
There are a few on Amazon, just wondering if anyone could recommend the best one for her please? Thanks |

I like the Bob Thomas one linked above.
This is a lovely book too amazon/Disney-Stud.../dp/0706431405 Unfortunateky it's long out of print but plenty of second hand copies available. It was originally published in the late 80s, so does not tell the more recent story of Disney after Walt, but of course the story from when he was alive has not changed! If the artwork itself is of particular interest then the classic (though pricey) book is still Christopher Finch's "The Art of Walt Disney" which is a fantastic book! |
