Best disney 3 bed villa

I would love to stay on site for our next trip. There would be a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids but also 2 grandparents. Which disney villa has 3 beds and which do you consider the best? X

Would you consider a 2 bed? The kids could sleep in the lounge? It would knock at Least £1000 off the price!

If you do want 3 proper bedrooms onsite then it would have to be a grand villa. There aren't many and you have to book well ahead, I would imagine.

Grand villas are at OKW, Boardwalk, AKL, BLT, Saratoga Springs.

I suppose you could also consider a two bedroom villa for you and the kids and then a studio or one bed villa for your parents. Don't think you can guarantee they'd be in the same building, though.

Good luck!

We could possible do two 1 beds, as long as there is a pull out sofa, also my mum will need a ground floor because she is unable to walk up stairs, would they put her close to the main building as she cant walk far? Thanks for your help.

You'll have less room in two one beds, as far as I am aware they just have a master bedroom with one double bed and then a pull out sofa,
Where as in a 2 bed, you have a bedroom with 1 double bed, a room with two double beds plus the pull out sofa!

You will be able to request a building close to the main building and on ground floor. Disney can't guarantee but will try their best. Their are lifts as well as stairs so she would be able to use those! :-)

Are you DVC members or thinking about renting points?

Disney UK (& UK travel agencies/companies) only allow you to book two DVC Resorts - OKW & SSR. If you wanted to book any of the others you'd have to do it through Disney US or by renting points. 3 bedroom villa's (Grand Villa's) are VERY hard (& expensive!) to book as there's very few of them in each Resort & most of them get booked up quickly by the DVC owners. & If you wanted to book any of the other Resorts I would do it by renting points as it's cheaper than booking through Disney US.

My favourite DVC Resorts are AKL/Kidani Village & Bay Lake Tower.

I think it's unrealistic to even consider a grand villa, they sell out to DVC members very quickly and they are incredibly expensive.

You could do a 2 bed, with grandparents in the master bedroom, and you and your girls in the 2nd bedroom (2 double beds). if you get a dedicated 2 bed, there are 2 double beds, in a lock-off, the 2nd bedroom is a studio so you get a double bed and a sofa bed (except OKW where it's 2 beds)

Or 2 x 1 beds, but that would be more expensive than a 2 bed. Your girls would definitely have to sleep in the living room if you have 2 x 1 beds. To be honest, I'd do a 1 bed and a seperate studio if it was my parents. I love them dearly but sometimes you need to be able to close the door and be in your own space.

You'll have less room in two one beds, as far as I am aware they just have a master bedroom with one double bed and then a pull out sofa,
I think you are thinking of a studio. A 1 bed has a master bedroom with a double bed, and a living room with a pull out sofa. 2 of them would be bigger than a 2 bed villa, but do you need 2 living rooms, and 2 kitchens?

The other 3 bed option is the treehouse villas, there are cheaper than the grand villas but again they are popular and I don't know how easy they are to book cash, or as a non SSR DVC owner.

Just to say, options to book other DVC villas and studios do come up on the Disney UK website. I was just looking at September and Boardwalk Villas, AKL Villas, BLT, Beach Club Villas and WL Villas are all listed as well as SSR and OKW. ...September is a quiet time, though. I imagine it depends on the time of year you are considering.

Grand Villas are another matter though There are so few.
