Is mickeys not so scary Halloween worth a visit

We are going in late August and on two days while we are there mickeys not so scary Halloween party on. We have tickets already so is it worth paying the extra? We have a 6yr old and almost 3yr old and it's $68 each looking at last year

My kids loved last time we went and they want to do it again this year. My eldest loved meeting the villians and the trick and treating. However we went on Halloween and found it really busy to the point I couldnt get around with the pushchair so found it hard work.

Yes if you can afford it go ! We went and out 6 year old loved collecting the sweets in his light up pumpkin we bought him in the shops .
It was very busy despite it pouring with rain and it wasn't actually Halloween night but it was a great atmosphere , fantastic fireworks display and the parade was like no other !

Hopefully we will get to go again in 2017 if it's in early September again !

If you go enjoy !

It's a few years since we went to MNSSHP, but we absolutely loved it and it was worth every penny. The boo to you parade is fantastic and you will be singing the song forever once you hear it (just have a look on YouTube as there are loads of videos of it). I'm not a big fan of the normal MK wishes fireworks (as I much prefer illuminations), but Hallowishes is just breathtaking. The music (seen as I love all things Haunted Mansion and Nightmare Before Christmas) gave me goosebumps! They also had the music playing throughout the park which I loved, hearing grim grinning ghosts puts such a big daft smile on my face

Back then you could dress up and we had so much fun trick or treating as a family all in Nightmare Before Christmas costumes. Think I read on here that the adults can't dress up anymore but you can still gather a ridiculous amount of sweeties. Our sweets stash was enormous ha ha.

We had the memory maker and we have lots of brilliant photos with the hitchhiking ghosts appearing behind us etc, just lots of fun things that we wouldn't have got on a normal day in the park.

If we could get there when the party is on, I would definitely go again.

We all loved MNSSHP, the parade we thought was amazing. We enjoyed collecting the sweets and looking at all the costumes people were wearing. The atmosphere was fantastic. As others have said if you have the money, I think it's worth going, too.

i think adults can still dress up but no masks etc? and nothing that can be construed as a real weapon. I may have read that wrong though. If adults can't dress up my little mermaid costume is out the window (haha) my DD and DS want to dress up as Jack and Sally for Halloween (they don't know we're going to disney!, shh) so as long as i sew up their costumes we'll be fine haha! i'm a pasty character anyway, i'll blend right in

We went last yea and dressed up, its great fun, even as just two adults. If you can afford I would say go, Halloween is as big as Christmas out there so they really do go all out.

This is us

We're thinking of doing MNSSHP this year too! 😁 Only us two adults though to pay for though so not too expensive!

I asked a similar question yesterday on the planning forum and got good responses and advice 👍🏻 I've planned it into our itinerary now, and will alter if I can't get tickets.

Do you have to ring up for tickets (like when booking a tour) or can you book online?
