I’m not sure whether to do the normal or villains- has anyone done both?

We had booked villains but changed it today because the normal after hours dates were released and were also on during our stay. A call to disney and they switched it for us. We were excited for the villains event but would prefer the normal event I think after watching quite a few vlogs. I’m sure either would be amazing!

We have booked villains for the 21st Feb!
This was meant to be a universal only trip (annual pass) but it never happens Really looking forward to it, a few $ more than normal after hours but in the grand scheme of things irrelevant |

How much can you actually get done in 3 hours?

Not sure but from what I read most things are walk on, that’s why I chose villains hoping more people will be their for the villains and freeing the rides up!
You can go in for 7 and book some fast passes before also, I think 3 hours of an empty park should be as good as a full day in a packed park? |

DS is really interested in it but we have park tickets for our stay and I think we will have more than enough time to do everything a few times over.
The only thing that does attract me is a less crowded park and the novelty of it for him as he hasn’t really ever experienced that whereas his Dad and I have. He also doesn’t realise it yet but this is almost definitely our last trip to Orlando so am tempted to do a few things to make it extra special. |

Ahh, if we had normal day tickets no way would I be paying for after hours! We normally go for Christmas and go to a Christmas party, but again we don’t have normal tickets, we do Disney every 3rd year and universal, seaworld etc the other 2 years.
From what I read the number of visitors for an after hours is way less than a party night? |
