Borrowing Points

Hi

I have made a reservation at Poly, my home resort for August 2020. My use year is August and I have used my 2020 points and borrowed some of my 2021 points. At the 7 month window I want to split my reservation to 2 different resorts which will likely use less points than the existing Poly booking. I understand the points will all go back into my 2020 use year but will I be able to bank them so they are then available for use again in my 2021 use year?

You can’t bank the borrowed ones but you can bank the ones from the current year.
You may need to do it on the phone so that you can ensure they spend the borrowed points on the new reservation and leave your current year points available to bank.

Online booking is pretty straightforward. I’d try that first then ring if you need to. Online requests which points to use first, borrow etc.
