for all those people who booked a Thomas cook package that included a Disney resort reservation, tickets, fastpass reservation, dining reservation etc.,
Disney are to honor you reservation, communication's have been sent out to the likes of virgin holidays, Tui, and Walt Disney travel company to secure the original booking's that may or may nor have been linked to my Disney experience.

try calling Disney direct to speak to their team, they have been so helpful today.

managed to Re book flights, and virgin quoted and honored my existing T/C booking with Disney.

All in about 400 more.

when it comes to customer service, Disney and Virgin, are so slick.

lesson learnt today.

Absolutely gutted to have lost our holiday but we have been lucky enough to be able to re-book for around the same time.
I feel awful for all the hard working staff that have just lost their jobs. My partner lost his job in Dec. of last year so I know exactly how they will be feeling and the stress it causes. I just hope they all manage to find new jobs soon.

Edit: For anyone in Orlando if not posted elsewhere these are the travel details to get people home. Looks like its a Titan and extra Virgin flight to get people home

We went to Florida last November with TC and the crew were amazing. Ive seen the clip from onboard where the team are in tears. Its absolutely heartbreaking how they continued to help even though they had lost their jobs. Sad loss and I hope they manage to find another job and everyone manages to rebook another holiday

Hi
I need to rebook to MCO. I see Norwegian Air are sub contracting to HiFly A340. Are these old planes worth flying with. Entertainment? Food Drink on time? Anybody flown with them this week?

Thomas Cook

Hey All, its such sad news, our thoughts are firstly with the many thousands who were employed by Thomas Cook and with those dibbers affected by the failure of the company .

If we are able to help please reach out to us as we are in contact with Disney and can help you with the process & guides to re-instate your original booking with a different airline.

Our contact details can be found on the home page of the Dibb.

Many Thanks

Kenwood Travel.

We have spent two hours in the Tui store today 🙄 but they were amazing we now have our holiday re booked for April ! Weve had to just book extra legroom seats in economy as the premium club was going to add a further 1364 to the booking 😕 but great service from the staff in store she managed to get 350 reduction on price and then a further 100 discount for being a Thomas cook customer 😁 can finally relax now I have it rebooked 😁

Feel really bad for all TC staff and hope that they can find something that they will love just as much !

Thomas Cook Help

We have booked a holiday with a TC high street store. We have confirmed that our flights tickets have been issued but our hotel has been cancelled. We can confirm we are ATOL protected and can apply for a full refund. However we wish to travel. To date we have no definitive answers as to whether we can take the flights, rebook a hotel and claim back this cost. The CAA indicates we can but as the holiday was booked as a package we do not know the cost of the hotel. Whenever you call ATOL or CAA you only hear a pre recorded message. Anyone out there who can answer my question?
