Mobile Universal annual pass price

Is there traditionally a time of year if at all, that universal increase the price of their annual passes?
Going next July and not sure if I should buy sooner rather than later incase price increases

Annual passes go up in cost everytine there is a ticket price increase , normally Disney announce there’s and a day or two later all the other parks follow suit, exchange rates effect the price too

Thanks. Am I right in thinking even if I buy now, they won’t activate until I first use them in July?

Annual passes commence on the day of purchase. So if bought now and not used until July it would still run out in October next year.

They run from when activated in the park. We pre purchased them a few years ago from the UK and the start date was our first Universal day.

this is incorrect

they are activated upon first park entry

purchase online is just a voucher that needs redeeming at universal's (hotel, guest services or park)
the AP vouchers do not expire. So they can be bought today, and activated even in a couple of years.

Well I do apologise for seemingly offering incorrect information.
I purchase annual passes each year for Universal and funnily enough they run out a year after I have purchased them.
I initially purchased them from Universal Studios and keep the same cards year on year.

Apologies Icey.
The paper voucher runs from when you first activate it in the park.
Once you have the physical card and have activated it if you wish to purchase for. Second, third year etc then the anniversaries for renewal fall on the same date.
There is usually a 20% discount for renewals.
Sorry.
