Universal unlimited express pass

Hi if I get one Unlimited express pass can I use that for rider swap with my partner and child. So only buying one as we will be rider swapping

You will have to buy three passes if you intend all three people to use.

Child swap at Universal isn't like at Disney where you get to return later via the FP entrance, at Universal you all enter the queue together and then there is a 'child swap' room usually just before the ride starts.

Depending on your dates it might be cheaper to look at a Universal deluxe hotel (Royal Pacific, Hard Rock or Portofino Bay) as they give 2 days worth of fastpasses with 1 night.

I can’t see how that would work, one of you wouldn’t be able to get into the express line without an express pass.

Ok so if we get one express pass and share it ? Because I don’t need to go on the big rides I’m not bothered but say if I want to go on one or 2 then there’s no point me getting 3 passes as me and my child won’t go on most of the rides

Can’t share express passes. If you’re only after one or two of the big rides it might be better to use the single rider queues the pay for express.

No you cant share passes, I think you would be escorted off the premises if you were discovered, sharing tickets / passes is a huge no in these places.

They have photo recognition cameras at the express pass scanners to stop sharing.

Definitely no sharing unfortunately. Everyone with a child under 6 would be doing it! It is highly likely that one night at one of their deluxe hotels will cost less or close to the same as 3 Express Passes. You will get front of line for two days on a single night stay and for as many rides as you want as well. Royal Pacific tends to be slighter cheaper than the other two.
