Florida 2019 - it‘s here at last - Intros

I'm going to do another trip report, not quite live, but almost. Be for we go on, a warning: I'm not as good at these as many other Dibbers, but I love looking back on my reports.

Intro time:
Me, Jackie, 48, planner, organiser, Disney-daft, Mum and gran
Husband: Stevie, 49, loves the holidays I plan and pretty much gives me free reign to plan
Son 1: Steven, 32, first born, with a family of his own now, but still my baby!
Son 2: Ben, 23, loves Disney almost as much as his mum
DIL: Brenda, 32, the daughter I never had, accepts me for the “caring and interested” mother in law I am
Grandson: Tyler, 11, the Apple of my eye, quietly excited about the holiday, has a visual impairment that doesn't hold him back,
Granddaughter: Lilly, 5, our little princess, a livewire who likes to talk and constantly has ants in her pants! Could not be more excited about the holiday

It feels like it has been such a long time in the planning.

The plans:

BA flights indirect via Gatwick
6 nights at the Beach Club
6 nights in a lovely villa at Calabay Park
2 nights at the Hard Rock Hotel

Then 5 come home and the 2 oldies head to Madeira Beach for 6 nights

2 cars to be collected on checkout day from the Beach Club.
