Quietest day - biggest chance of discounts

Wondering if there’s a best day of the week to get a bigger discount than others at the outlets?

Are Mondays likely to be the quietest day to visit them?

Previous threads suggest that the biggest discounts tend to be during the week & they taper off at the weekend; however, it is common for discounts to change on a daily basis; all the signs in a store today may say 30% off & tomorrow they may all say 40% off or vice versa.

We’ve noted that department stores such as Macy’s tend to offer their discounts at the weekend, Friday-Sunday.

I found it impossible to tell. We visited same stores - polo, hilfiger, timberland, under armour, banana Republic etc - over a week or so at up to 4 places. Premium Vineland, premium I drive, outlet marketplace and LBV and the offers varied every time. The shop assistants must spend their entire time moving signs around. Bonkers.
