Walking and wildlife
Where should we go to walk and see the wildlife? We have 5 non-theme park days planned.
Crystal River is definitely on the list, and probably Silver Springs (visiting relatives nearby). I've been to Lake Louisa and would consider another visit there. We like to walk - 6 mile hikes preferable to short trails, unless there are a lot of them! We'd prefer to be on foot or in a slow boat, rather than an airboat, and swimming is not an option this visit. Thanks. |

Blue spring state park is lovely, the boat ride is slow and you see lots of wild life, the driver/crew is brilliant at spotting them and very knowledgeable, there are also lots of walking trails.
