Has the vaccine changed your hopes and booking dates?

I'm 50/50 for our June trip (rescheduled from September this year). I think it might be a few months too early.

It's going to take a long time to deploy Vaccines globally.

I also think Biden will be very cautious and keep the borders closed for a long time until the situation is well under control there. If he does open them, I still see plenty of other restrictions and masks still required.

spookily we had a long walk on sunday & on reflection decided to book flights that day if we see a good deal i spotted last week was still on

got home booked flights great price now have something to look forward to...

next vaccine announced :-) grande villas and hard rock now booked as well

No. 2021 was supposed to be our year to go again but decided during lockdown one to suspend until 2022. I’m tempted but still going to keep to 2022.

No not even going there until we no for definite... lost to many holidays this year, be last minute for us if at all next year.

I’m on my 3rd rebooking! From July 2020to Easter 2021 & now July 2021! I feel confident it’ll go ahead now so I’m in full planning mode!

Just curious as I have been watching the flight prices and have some BA vouchers from a cancelled flight. How does insurance work if you book now during the Pandemic. Surely a new policy won't cover you as there's currently travel restrictions in place and god forbid the vaccine(s) aren't effective enough for travel to resume safely.

I was about to cancel my May booking, but the vaccine changed my mind. I have named the trip our ‘maybe may’ trip on our planning spread sheets and begun!

I know it might not happen, but now at least I feel there is a chance. I’m going to book for December too as a back up, but won’t start any planning on that one until I cancel May. I have given myself until March to decide.
