Dentists

Folks I was wondering if Dentists & their staff have been vaccinated and whether it makes a difference if they are private or not ?

I was at mine on Monday (broken crown!) and asked them, they had not had theirs yet. None of the staff

My wife is a dental nurse and everyone in their surgery (5) has. She works in Glasgow.
They have now also volunteered to be vaccinators.

Both my Dentist and my Chiropractor are Private and they and all of their Staff including receptionists have been vaccinated.

As an aside both my Wife and I have asked for another Crown each expecting them to be deferred for a few Months. No dental issues just something that cosmetically would look better. Not to be. I am booked in for next week

My Wife will wait a few more weeks as we are busy at home.

Our dentists was weird. On our first visit all the staff - receptionists, nurses etc had been vaccinated but the dentists were still waiting. On our second visit 3 weeks later our dentist had been told he would be vaccinated at one of three hospitals. On our third visit he had been vaccinated but at a totally different hospital. DH has now been for an extra 2 visits - you can guess he has a problem - and has further visits booked in. This is a NHS / private practice where we can chop and change.

I work in private care and all dentists and nurses have been vaccinated, just waiting for a few reception staff to get it done (Lincolnshire) x

My SIL and BIL are both NHS dentists and have been vaccinated.
