Atlantis was worth the admission price on its own. Worth getting there early as there is so much to do and see. It gets very hot. We went down to the beach which was just another 30 minute drive from KSC. Drove past dolphins etc on the way. Great day.

Neither DH or I are big space fans or massively into science but we enjoyed it. I think we got there at about 10am and left at around 3pm and weren't bored during any of it. We had a wander around the outdoor bit which has rocket and "stuff", which was interesting. Then we had a potter around an indoor bit, had a go at docking a shuttle on a simulator game thing, that was fun. Watched a few information videos and then the 3D film that Tom Cruise narrated. We then did the bus tour, which was really interesting. We finished the day off with the shuttle launch experience, which was really good.

We only paid the most basic admission ticket, got it on the day once we'd arrived. I'm not sure we'd go again but I am glad that we experienced it.
