Jedi Training

Hi all!

My 10 year old dd is desperate to do the Jedi training when we go next week - but I can't find much info online.

Does she need to go and sign up first thing (during EMH?) If so, where do we go?

Our daughter done it a few years ago when she was 10 & enjoyed it. Can't remember where the sign up is though but I'm sure someone else will tell you where to go.

Just got back on Friday after an amazing trip! My dd did it on Thursday for the 2nd time, she did it last yr too. You need to be in line before 9am to guarantee a time slot, even though registration is not till 10.45. It's very popular & there's 6 shows a day but maybe only 12 kids in each show. Be prepared to que at least 2 hours but the kids don't have to que with you, just make sure they come back for the registration at 10.45. It's so good & worth the wait! Defo the highlight for DD trip!

ETA you go to videopolis in discoveryland to register ,you will see the Jedi Training sign once you arrive there.

Yeah, I got there at 8.30 & there was one other dad there. They started putting the ropes out to make a line at 8.45 then lots more people came. I think they closed the line at 9.45 as it was full. I thought to myself 'I pity all the 10am crowd coming in as they have no hope of getting a time slot'
It was like this last August too, so I think it's busy all the time.

My older dd loved watching it last time, and I was thinking we'd have to queue up for her to take part during our next trip, but I don't think it's on at Christmas. Fingers crossed it's back on if we book to go in summer 2018.
Does anyone know the age limit? I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that younger dd would still be too young when we were wondering about doing it this year, but maybe she'll be old enough to join in next year.

You have to be between age 7-12. We had a 13 yr old in our party but he was too old.

I think that's just helped me decide when to book for next year! I was torn between May and August, but younger dd turns 7 at the end of July (older dd turns 11, but that makes no difference either way.) I wonder if it will still be on in August 2018?
