Cancelling flights with VIRGIN ATLANTIC------

Well, VA were about as helpful as I expected to be fair i.e. not very.

I've filled in the on -line claim form and should get their 'quote' within 24 hours.

It's in line with their company policy so no arguments from me, other than it's a pretty miserable and non-flexible policy

Hi put my claim in , took them 7 days to start the process

It's now been 8 days still waiting for my quote - so like you say Mike

Not helpful, fast enough to take your money but no so quick to return it

**Update**

After a hiccup at VA's end which led to me waiting for a quote on the refund value for 9 days ( with no response ) I chased them yesterday.

The guy I spoke to initially hadn't done what he'd promised...so 9 days wasted!

Anyway and anyhoo... all sorted yesterday by a helpful young lady and e-mail confirmation received within an hour.

Refund was £185.80 and an additional £50 on top by way of an apology.

Pretty much as expected. Thank you to all you guys for your help and input on this.

Always shows it depends on who you talk to and if they actually do what they say.
