Scooters in Park

Hi,
my DSIL will have a scooter and never having travelled with one before, I have a couple of questions.

We are planning a couple of long days (open to close) at MK, and Epcot. Will the scooter need to be recharged during the day, and if so, are there charging points in the park?

Also, I know she won't qualify for a DAS, and should be able to use the normal queue. Are there any queues within the park that she would do anything differently for? I seem to remember some of the queue areas being quite tight inside, with multiple channels of chained off queue lines- what happens here, does she still negotiate these in a scooter? Or is there a separate line?

I always hire a scooter out there and I charge it overnight and it has always lasted the whole day---very close one day at seaworld but it got me back to the car

in the parks --some rides you go in the exit which is good but you miss all the build up of the ride---in others you transfer to a normal wheelchair and some you go in on the scooter and yes it is tight but you can manage it


she will be fine and just go to the ride entrance and ask and the cast members will help you out

Who do you use to hire your scooter? Does it fit in the back of the car?

She has used Randys.

And, I sincerely hope so! In all seriousness, we have a Dodge Caravan booked and from reading previous reports, that would appear to be fine.

I use Randys and we usually get a Tahoe and the scooter just slides straight in but this trip there will be 5 adults and a toddler so we are going for the chevy suburban

I would have gone for something like this, but we are flying into Sanford so a more limited choice.

we are flying into Sanford the suburban is not listed in just Alamo but because we are members of the Alamo insiders we were given the option which I jumped at straight away
£465 for 10 days rental which we are splitting with my son and his family so £233 each
