Hire motorised scooter/wheelchair?

Well, 4 months post surgery on two snapped achiliies tendons, my normally superfit golfing husband is still unable to walk very far or very well.
Im afraid we will need to hire some kind of motorised vehicle for our 4 days at Universal Studios. As a Harley Davison around the parks is out of the question, can anyone recommend a hire place that might deliver and pick up to Universal?
Appreciate any advice from people who have used a service.

Any companies tried and tested?

Hi, If you check on the Special Needs forum you will see companies dibb members have hired from, the companies will deliver to hotels, private homes etc. and pick up when you need them to.

Your in the special needs forum. If you use the stickies at the side there should be more info on EVCs and wheelchairs. I would go with an ECV, no pushing and he can go where he wants. Lots of companies to choose from some will deliver and leave at bell services for you, others will want you to be there for delivery and go through how it works. I use scooterbug myself but it's personal choice. I use the small gogo elite4 as it's light weight and breaks down easy to go in the car or you can get the larger comfier type if it's just for parks. Hope this helps.
