The hotel booking confirmation does show the race purchases but knowing they are different parts of the company we are concerned it won't be enough if there is a problem. The CM wasn't sure of the process, just that she could book the races. Thanks for confirming you are still waiting too, hopefully it won't be too long.

I have been away with no internet access, so totally missed this. I have already booked a SL GF room with a Dream Passport discount for the weekend. Does anyone know if it's possible to just add bibs to an existing booking, cancel and rebook with bibs, or has this offer ended?
TIA
David

Yes it is possible to add bibs (runDisney France confirmed it to me on Facebook). However, it's very likely that the booking line will tell you that can't still! Be persistent and tell that you know other people have been able to do it and they should be able to figure it out for you.

That's great, thanks.

I assume they can do the challenge bibs too

Will this work using a classic annual pass that doesn't get me a room discount? I would have got a more expensive one had I known that I could get a bib this way! At the moment I have off-site accommodation booked but worried that with annual pass holders getting early access to the bibs they might sell out before they become available to everyone else :-/

I would think they will let you do it but it will be very expensive without a discount!

I have an old style Dream annual pass which used to offer a 35% discount but I got a 50% discount for race weekend so you may get lucky...

Thanks for your reply, I guess Disney hotels will look so expensive compared to the £60pn I've paid for the Hipark Serris! Oh well. I guess I will have to wait and hope there will be bibs left for general release! If I'd known before hand I would've got a more expensive annual pass!

Have you checked your options for getting to the start line on race day(s)?
I stayed at the Hipark last year (not race weekend) and found that the transport was less than ideal.
Coaches didn't start until after EMH was over
The RER station at Val d'Europe was almost 20 minutes walk
The entrance to Disney Village next to the cinema/Five Guys/Vapiano was a similar distance/time to the RER station walk.
In the end I walked to Disney Village in the mornings and go the bus back in the evenings.

The Disney Village entrance mentioned above was not available on Race Day mornings as this is on the road where the start corrals are. One option if walking this way may be to divert through the NPB. Otherwise I think you will have a longer walk over to the RER and have to go in that way.

Apologies if you already have this all cleared up but thought it might be useful so someone, if not you.

David

Thanks for pointing that out David. I was planning on walking, which I've read takes about 20 mins to the park entrance (not going through Disney Village). Part of the reason I've chosen the Hipark is because it's basically the closest hotel within walking distance that's not a Disney hotel. Walking through NPB on race day seems like a good option, which I reckon would take about 30 mins (I've read somewhere about someone doing this). Even if it takes a bit longer, it's SO much cheaper than a Disney hotel I just can't justify even a stay at Santa Fe!

Has anyone that booked any of the race packages received anything yet? I was told to expect something at the end of May/early June, but have yet to receive anything.
Also when I check my reservation online, the two races that make up the challenge are listed separately with a price against each. This concerns me a little as it makes me think that perhaps I have not been signed up for the challenge, which means I may not get any of the swag.
Anyone experience anything similar?

TIA
David
