Reservations required for Buffets?
Just a quickie. We are going to DLP in August and have the free "half board" option for staying at Davy Crocketts. It is my understanding that the lunch/dinner part is to be taken at a buffet restaurant. Do you need (or are you even able) to make reservations at these restaurants?
Thanks

You most certainly can make reservations at the buffets. I guess it depends on when you're going as to how busy they'll be, but I'd recommend making reservations if you know what time you'd like to eat.
I've made reservations for Agrabah, Plaza Gardens, and Hunter's Grill before. X |

Thanks for the info
Unfortunately, the menus don't really tell you much about what they serve in their buffets (other than Billy Bob's)

Look at photos and reviews. There are some on the Guidebook on here, or
Tripadvisor will have photos.

Thanks Gill.
Now, as far as I can work out, with the standard plan (we are staying at Davy Crockett with the "Free" Half Board) we can use these restaurants - Agrabah Café (Disneyland Park), Chuck Wagon (Cheyenne), Crockett’s Tavern (Davy Crockett Ranch), La Cantina (Santa Fe), La Grange at Billy Bob’s (Disney Village), Plaza Gardens (Disneyland Park), Restaurant Des Stars (Disney Studios). There is also the statement that you could use your vouchers at other restaurant to receive "Face value" to offset your bill. Does anyone know what "Face Value" for these things equates to please? Thanks

I think it's €28 for the adult standard voucher. I'm not definite though. X

Thanks Andybear.
We always have a problem pre-booking as we have no idea where we intend to be in the future and when we might be hungry. We are very much "just see how we get on" kind of people but we're just gonna have to suck it up this time though I guess and plan what we are doing around our bookings and hope I guess the right time for hunger.
