Milk in cafe Hyperion? Or cereal anywhere?

Looking at going in August with the free half board which includes the counter service breakfast. My son is a creature of habit and only wants cereal for breakfast.

Can you buy a carton of milk/drink of milk during the breakfast hours? I'm thinking of taking a small Tupperware tub of cereal and putting the milk on it whilst we have the CS breakfast. He just wouldn't eat any of the CS breakfast.

Only other option is to buy a travel fridge to plug in the room to put milk in and him have cereal before we leave the room!

I can't find anywhere other than paying for a full buffet breakfast where he can get cereal and that would make it an expensive bowl of cereal!

Thanks

I would bring your own cereal and a bowl and spoon, and have it in your room. You can buy milk at the station or the garage. Bear in mind though, there isn't usually a fridge in the room except for club level.

Would he have UHT milk on his cereal? You could take some smaller cartons and keep them in the room.

Just read a breakfast menu from Hyperion on Facebook. In the a la carte section it says you can buy milk (to drink I guess), semi skimmed €1.69. It's not cheap but if you all want to eat together it's an option. X

That's just what I was looking for. That's great if you can buy it to drink, I'll just pour it on some cereal that I'll take with me!

I'll be another doing the same in August. My 5 yo is another creature of habit. By day 3 or 4 I might convince him to eat a croissant but he loves his cereal so I'll take a few variety boxes to nibble. He might have it dry though which is useful. Got plaza booked for one day so he can have some Disney cereal balls!

Just remember that the milk in France does not taste the same as in the UK. I think that is all UHT. My granddaughters did not like it on their cereal as they said it tasted funny.

You can get "fresh" milk in France. The Casino mini mart in the station at Marne La Vallee sells homogenised.
Strange that a country that gave us Pasteur doesn't pasteurise its milk.

My son was fine with the milk that came out the machines in the Cheyenne last year so I'm guessing that was UHT?
