Summer July/August Availability
We are considering buying a DVC contract at SSR. Could anyone please tell me what the likelihood is of getting 14 nights in the school summer holidays at OKW in a 1 or 2 bed?

Do you mean this year or every year once you own at SSR and are trying to book OKW at the 7 Month point?

Every year at the 7 month point. We like the layout of OKW (having already stayed there) but makes more financial sense to buy at SSR. Just wondering how easy it would be to book during summer holidays.

Sorry. Had to defrost the chest freezer!
I own at SSR so have just checked OKW for diverse dates in August. 5th - 19th Aug. 1 bed full availability 2 bed only 11 nights available. 6th, 7th and 17th fully booked 12th - 26th Aug. 1 bed full availability 2 bed only 10 nights available. 17th, 20th 21st and 22nd fully booked 23rd Aug - 6th Sept. 1 bed and 2 bed full availability. Not the 2 bed near the Hospitality House though, only partial for that.

I think you will get okw without too much problem. I want to change my booking for August which is only 3 months away and SSR,Okw and animal kings lodge still have plenty of availablity.

You have historically been able to get OKW easy in summer at 7 months. If you leave it to mid August and book a 1 bed you can get anywhere. This year 6 months out I could even get Grand Floridian mid August.

Sorry to jump on the thread, but was looking for same info but for a STUDIO - either SSR or OKW in July / August at 7 months out. (Actually not looking until 2018, but would be good to get an idea of what the chances could be of getting what we want)
