I've found 2018 to be much more expensive. I usually book 18 months in advance (last went 2015) but really dragging my feet this time. Can't decide on where to stay.

Its the park tickets that have shocked me for 2018. In Oct. 16 we had 2 week passes for Universal and Discovery Cove Ultimate package with Dolphin swim which all came to £1040 for 2 adults and a teenager(same price as adult). 2018 the same package comes to £1635. I was expecting some increase due to Volcano Bay but this is rediculous, even taking into account the poor exchange rate it is still a fair old hike.
Not much we can do about it i suppose, just have to save harder..

I would never book this early you will pay top price, last 5 years I have booked in about February to go June 1st or 2nd and always find it t be about the cheapest price.
Example I have paid £1607 for 2 weeks for 2 adults in all star sports including flights with Thomson booking it in Feb before we go in June.
I have just went on Thomson and priced it for June 2018 and it is £2806.
This is because Disney charge full price while they have the free dining offer on. So people think they might as well upgrade and go in to a moderate resort with free dinning paying full room price.
Once the so called free dinning offer stops Disney will then start to offer discounted room prices and also flight prices will drop.

I booked 8 days off site for me and daughter(18) for next year with Virgin, hotel flights and car hire £730 each, which I thought was very reasonable.
Can see me going every year at this rate!

Yep, the Ultimate Tickets prices are well over £400 for kids and adults in 2018. Better start saving!
