That's the 2 weeks we are going this year and we paid £2600 for 2 adults and 4 kids with BA.

We have booked for May 2018 week before half term and half term with Virgin holidays - direct return economy flights Man-Mco £2100. I thought this was a good price, as when we went last October the flights didn't drop below £3800 for us since release!

We are looking to go the exact time as you next year. Hoping to fly out 18/5 and return 1/06. Can I ask how many people that is for please?

I think I'd be pretty happy with that price - good for you. I'm not sure what to do but checked again today and the price hasn't changed at all so I think maybe I'm going to try to hold out until 11 months out. TC isn't an option for us as we want to come home on the Sunday to maximise our trip...
Thanks for posting -

we are flying out may 16th and returning june 1st which is the thurs of half term.
we paid £1600 (although nearly 300 of this was tescos vouchers turned into virgin flying club points) so aprox £1900 for 3 ad, 1 ch direct from Gatwick with no car.
I booked direct with VA a week after the flights were released.

Notice you said you are not planning on collecting the car - be aware VA may have a no show penalty for that - would be worth checking the T&Cs of your car hire or asking before - BA definitely have this

Never heard this before, loads of people on here don't pick up the car, I won't be picking it up next year either, I'd be interested to know how they could enforce any sort of penalty as you've already paid for your holiday/flydrive?
