We went in 2013 with our kids 9 & 7... it was ok but wouldn't go back again as we weren't really impressed.

We are going back for this year but our son is only 6 and loves lego. I doubt you guys would enjoy it and it's a fair drive down there. I would say do something else instead.

Thanks for you replies/views ... And the consensus says we'll give it a miss. Use the savings on a bit of retail therapy instead ...

I went with two boys in 2013 (Last 2 weeks August) (age 7 and 9) - we all loved it! The park was deserted - everything was a walk-on. The adults loved the peacefulness of the park and the kids loved the rides ( ok, so did the adults) Its similar to Windsor, but yet different - at least 3 more different "thrilling" rides - think slightly less than Big Thunder Mountain (Flying School, Coastasaurus, Lego Technics ride - NOT the Dragon - rubbish - Windsor wins there even though that is not that good) The joy for us was open paths, no queues, and feeling like we weren't rushing. Also the indoor section of build your own stuff was so much better and cleaner. We did the most popular rides 2-3 times each straight after each other and could not believe it having been disneying before this.

Going again this year - they are now 9 and 11 - I know we'll have a good time - but each to their own.

Thinking of upgrading tickets there if we feel the need to for the waterpark - think its about $15 per person - swim stuff in the boot - sorry trunk!

Ditto, we went October 2013 with 5 children all under 7 (not all mine I must add!) and we loved it! We went on our very first day in Florida. The park was quiet and no longer than 10 minute wait for anything, some rides walk on. It was the perfect day to ease us into two weeks of madness! Def plan to go back again in October 2017 and would like to do the "eye" to.

Agree with others though, not sure it will appeal to those without children, of children over 12
