Recommend things to do at St Petes Beach

Hi all,

Staying at Grand Plaza Hotel, St Petes Beach for 3 days after orlando. Recommendations for things to do in this area and nice restaurants to try - I have husband and two teenagers with me.

Thanks in advance.

1200 degrees Chophouse, small but excellent steakhouse.
Don't take bookings so get there for opening or as close to as you can.

Dolphin watch cruise - dolphinlandings
They have three or more a day and they last for a couple of hours. We have done this a few times and it is very relaxing, and have always seen lots of Dolphins.

Also, why not take in a baseball game at Tropicana Field. This is always interesting people watching -as well as the game of course.

That sounds good - something different to do the dolphin trip looks good and not too expensive either.

The outdoor restuarant is great at the Grand Plaza for watching sunset, and listening to the entertainment, which was excellent. We had our last night there before flying home from Tampa. Great to catch the last of the Florida sun.
The rotating restuarant on the top floor gives spectacular views over the bay. We didn't eat there, but staff were more than happy for us to go up in the lift and take pics.
