Restaurants near Hilton Hotel at Manchester airport
Hi everyone,
Just looking for a bit of advice , we are stopping at the Hilton Hotel, Manchester airport the night before we depart to Florida. We get breakfast included within the hotel stay, so for dinner the night before we are fancying heading to an outside restaurant ! would you recommend something in the city centre? or is it at all possible to eat inside the airport if you stop at the hotel associated with said airport? Thank you in advance Kelly |

Hi..I live in Manchester not far from the airport. Not really that many nice places to eat on airport property (some of the hotels have restaurants but I've never tried them)...it's easy to jump on the train into town where there are loads of really good places to have a nice meal... or take a taxi to nearby Hale or Wilmslow which again have some really good places to eat and are only 10 minutes away in a taxi.

Hi Kelly, have you tried the airport pub?
Search for ''airport pub Manchester'' Been refurbished a couple of years ago and pretty smart. Some of the tables are shaped like an aircraft engine. Also great views of the runway from the beer garden |

No, the other end of the airport.
Think Robinsons has taken it over and just called The Airport. Does some good cocktails. |

We went last Sunday for the afternoon as it was my birthday and double digit day ( for the day we leave to go to the airport).
It was really busy as it was a lovely day and had to wait an hour to be seated. We didn't mind though as we were enjoying watching the planes. I have to say the service was fantastic. Our food was brought within fifteen minutes of ordering. I'm a vegetarian and did find their vegetarian option a bit limited. I was a bit underwhelmed by my pizza to be honest. However, DH and DS's enjoyed theirs and if you are a chocolate lover you will enjoy their range of deserts. The prices are very reasonable. I think our mains were less than £10 each and the desert was less than £5 I'll try add some photos. |
