Sorry, I'm also going to jump in here...we're planning to eat at T-Rex for sure, Rainforest perhaps.

So, if I'm correct, if I order a Landry's card, and put in my Little on'es birthday instead of mine (14th Dec), we will have $50 credit until the 15th January?

When you use your card to pay your bill, do you still gain points? I mean, say we used that $50 credit to pay a $70 bill, surely we don't still gain points to use next time (eg at Rainforest)?

Yes..but you'd need to adjust the year obviously.

And yes, you get points on the bill too. I can't remember the exact ratio, but seem to recall that spending $250 gets you another $25. Our T. rex bill for 3 adults and 1 child was about $120 so it's definitely doable!

Sorry if I am a bit dim. When you have used the 25$ that is put on when you join, do you have to put money on to use it again, or is it is just a loyalty card?

Anyone who has had one before: do you remember if you got an email confirmation when you ordered it? I ordered one last week and the money came off my credit card immediately but there was no email or anything? Any suggestions for how long I wait for it to arrive before emailing them to check?
Sorry for jumping in!

I was planning on getting a landrys card for our next visit but didn't realise you could have more than one card, so if both me and DH signed up we could have $50 off rainforest cafe meal and then $50 off bubba gumps meal for example?

Totally dumb question-but I'm going there anyway

The card costs $25-which is then credited to the card?
And you gain $25 if it's your birthday or 15 days after?

You get a welcome reward of $25 but it costs $25 to join so effectively free. The birthday reward is credited annually on the 1st of your birthday month and you have until the 15th of the following month to use it. So around 6 weeks or so. The welcome credit expires after a year.

Thanks very much Lisa.
Does it take long to arrive from date of application?
We go next Friday -so I'm guessing I've probably left it too late?

All you need is your membership number- the card itself is not necessary. So you can apply today and go today if you want to...

The BIGGEST benefit - is the priority seating. At bubba gump - the wait for a table was 45 min or more. We went to the LSC (Landry Select club) podium thing outside, gave our membership number and they seated us straight away.

(the money stuff is a bit of a smokescreen - you pay $25 to get $25 - so the card is free if you use it - and the $25 birthday bonus just reduces the bill to closer to a "normal" restaurant bill...)
