Epcot to Boardwalk.
Apologies if this is a really silly question or has been asked before but can you walk between Epcot and Boardwalk if you ARE NOT staying on site? I know on-site guests can but aren't sure on us non-site guests.
And also parking at Boardwalk for non-site guests, is it allowed etc? I've never been to Boardwalk (hence all the Q's! ) and I'm excited to check it out but also want to do Epcot in the late afternoon / evening. Thank you

You can definitely walk out the back of world showcase to the boardwalk, and even get a boat to Hollywood studios if you wanted. We parked at epcot so not sure of you can park at the boardwalk sorry x

We parked at the Boardwalk Hotel, just told the car park man and had no issues. We didn't pop to Epcot, but it was an easy walk to it.

Hotel car parks are for the use of,hotel guests and those guests using the hotel facilities, like restaurants. If everyone who went to Epcot parked their cars at Boardwalk, there would be no room for hotel guests. I believe that this problem has now been addressed by Disney.

We just asked to visit the Boardwalk, not go to Epcot, and had no issues. We were about two to three hours max.

Two weeks ago if you weren't a guest or had an ADR then parking wasn't allowed at the Boardwalk. Big signs saying so on Epcot Resorts Boulevard as you approach the turning for the resort. You may have been able to park across the road behind the Gas station though.

We did this last year. We were not sure how it worked. We had an ADR at Big River Grill so just informed security that we were visiting there then watching illuminations and he told us that was fine. We would have parked wherever he sent us but he was happy enough to let us in. Not sure if this is the case all the time and we were definitely not trying to scam some free parking just were not sure how it worked Think we were about 3 hours also.
Regards to the OP question to walking from Epcot yes you can as we walked from Boardwalk to Epcot then jumped the boat back after illuminations. |

There is nothing stopping off-site guests from walking from the Boardwalk to Epcot or vice versa. Anyway can do this.
However, offsite guests cannot park for free at the Boardwalk in order to visit Epcot. You can only park at the Boardwalk if you have an ADR there, are staying there, or pay for valet parking. Instead, you could park at Epcot and then walk to the Boardwalk from World Showcase. Or you could get a Disney resort bus from a park to the Boardwalk and then walk from there into the 'back' of Epcot. Or get an uber or taxi from your hotel to the Boardwalk and walk to Epcot afterwards. Etc.
