Mobile POR riverview room

Worth more than a preferred what’s the difference in the rooms other than location? Just trying to justify the extra £120 I know it’s not much more

I'd say it's definitely not worth it. You don't really get much of a view at the moderate resorts as there's a covered walkway outside your window, and you don't have a balcony. So the view aspect really isn't worth paying for IMO. Preferred room is worth it as you'll be closer to all the amenities. I'd always code preferred over view at a moderate resort

Just to add, that the rooms themselves are the same. The main difference being that a preferred room will be in Alligator Bayou, whereas a view room could be in either Alligator Bayou or Magnolia Bend. The room decor is different in the two areas, but the size, amenities, layout etc are the same.

I wouldn't pay for preferred room / etc - if there was am issue wit the room (i.e. noise for example) you could ask to be moved.

Out POR room was facing the car park - perfect for loading / unloading, and close to the bus stop. As said, there is no where to sit in room where you can appreciate the view! Round the corner was a private pool and seats by river. I couldn't fault location...and even being on edge of resort, we where a short walk across bridge to main pool / area - a really lovely walk.

I think I’m just on edge due to the preferred rooms being withdrawn and I’m concerned we will not be able to secure a preferred room. I kind of wish I pre booked 🙄

It's only the standard rooms that have been withdrawn from free dining. Preferred or view rooms still qualify.

Even if you'd pre-booked it wouldn't guarantee anything as room allocation is only confirmed on 25th when the rooms are released.
