Mobile Quick driving question...

So I know you can turn right in a red (unless stated otherwise by a sign) but what about left?
My reason for asking is I was driving by Champions Gate the other night and was waiting to turn left on a filter light. The light was red so I stayed put. I then heard a HONK from behind me so I thought that was an indication I was dithering and I could go, still m the red. Since then I’ve seen other cars waiting on the left turn red filter light until its green.

Also, these 4 way crossroads with the stop sign on each junction. Is it just ‘go when it’s safe to do so’ or is there a ‘no traffic coming from the right, then go’ rule.

Thanks

Fairly certain that red means stop and I always wait for green light. 4 way crossings, you go in turn, if you are 2nd car to arrive at crossroads, then you go when it is your turn i.e. 2nd.

You can as you say for a right turn, but not for a left turn across traffic.

4 way crossings, make sure you come to a complete stop (or risk a ticket), then you go in turn of who got there in what order, no matter what direction they are going in.

You can only turn left on a red arrow if it’s a one way street and they are almost non existent so I’d say it was a no
3or 4 way junctions you must stop and then go in the order you reached the junction simple when you get the hang of it
