Yes, I would think you'd have the option to cancel and get a refund in that situation, but would be worth checking before paying anything

You would need to check with the agent. I’ve had a few quotes through and it’s not been clear what would happen in the event of them not being able to fulfil the booking.

According to the terms and conditions of the quote I have with kenwood. 100£ required deposit to pre register for the dining plan deal if what you are quoted is not available and there are no acceptable substitutes this will be refunded. If it is available to be booked a deposit of 10 % will be due with the full amount to be paid 1 month before travel.

I’ve pre-booked with virgin, beach club arriving 2nd October 2020 (just scraped in with our dates!) Shows as ‘requested’ on the invoice. They said it will be confirmed on the 25th but if there is any problems then alternatives would be offered or I can cancel and have my deposit refunded. Hoping that we’ll be ok with our dates being after the school holidays... fingers crossed!

We’ve pre-booked with Virgin and paid the pre-booking deposit with virgin flying club miles. If what we want isn’t available they’ll make an alternative offer and I can get the miles back and cancel if not suitable.

Thanks for your replies didn't realise Virgin and kenwood were taking pre-booking. Tempted by a hotel only booking maybe with ATD as I want August and the holiday prices are ridiculous at the minute. Hoping to get some cheapish flights
