It’s good price per point for direct, and the rooms themselves are fantastic I have to say, but I’d not go for it:

1. Depreciation on resale for reasons well covered elsewhere.
2. Dues are very high, Gondola cost factored in. Who knows where that could go?
3. Worry that eventually there will be a ton of people (resale buyers who have nowhere else to go) booking bang on 11 months.
4. Points are high per night, I was looking for Xmas, they are below VGF but much higher than many of the other legacy 14.
5. I wouldn’t buy for the mini studios, hardly any of the resort is sold yet and they’ve already booked up for Xmas. DVC owners are value seekers, which is why autumn became so popular (low points) and which is why studios and value rooms book much quicker than say 1 beds preferred view. It will be very challenging getting those mini studios. Many scrape together enough money to buy in at what they see as the entry level price.
