Car for just a day...

A friend at work is visiting in may and wants a car just to visit Busch Gardens. They are staying on international drive so don't want a car for the rest of the time.

I have suggested car in the drive so they can have it delivered to their hotel and collected later. Is there any other options open to them? I'm not sure what is options are as we always have a car for the whole trip.

Avis has a car rental desk at the Four Points Sheraton, I am sure others to a similar thing. So they could pick up and drop of the car there and it would be cheaper than car on the drive.

We hired a car through Alamo Four Points Sheraton for the day to get us back to Miami. It was about 25 dollars.

Car on the drive is the most expensive way to get a 1 day hire.

I think there is a minimum hire period for car on the drive, I know they told me minimum 4 days when I tried to use them last year.

We had a car for the duration last year but my husband wanted to drive a mustang, so I rented one from Alamo though NHS discounts for 2 days and paid £89 including insurances. We picked it up from the Holiday Inn down the 192, he just got an uber there to pick it up.
