5 days Disney 5 days Universal August 2020
Hi
Is that too short for August time with the crowd levels. I’m looking at staying onsite so we can go early rest and go back if we want too. Thanks |

Universal is easily done in 5 days but not Disney. If you include both water parks that’s 6 parks in 5 days. You will miss a great deal out and be knackered. If you’re doing 10 days I’d choose either Disney or Universal. It’s a lot of ticket money as well for just 5 days at each.

As much as I love Universal, I have to agree with the pp. you can easily fill 10 days at Disney alone. You will have time to fit in day and night visits to the parks to take in fireworks, shows etc and allow yourselves a slightly less hectic pace. I’d save Universal for another time and really make the most of what Disney has to offer.

I would do all disney days as the PP suggested, if you really want to do Universal then you could possibly do two days there (1 IOA and 1 Studios)

For 10 days I'd choose either Disney or Universal and the SeaWorld parks. You won't be able to do anywhere near enough in 10 days to justify the cost of both sets of tickets.

We did twelve days earlier this year and split it between Disney and Universal, but that was because DH really wanted to go to Universal as it had been a few years, we had planned just that but then I snuck a quick Disney trip in. Previously we have said one or the other and truthfully that is what we should have done, it is a waste of money getting tickets for five days in each.

Personally I would book 2 nights at a universal hotel 3 days on site at universal with express passes will easily get everything done and the rest of the time at Disney, put simply if you ignore the water parks (a loss but if your short of time probably for the best)
that's 2 universal park and 4 Disney parks so on paper you need twice the amount of time at Disney than Universal |
