Fast Passes - Philharmagic

Anyone have any idea why all fast pass tickets for Mickey's Philharmagic are all gone?

Looking at average wait time these don't seem to be that high (15-30 minutes); so just wondering why the high demand for fast passes.

We haven't been before and wondering if I am missing something really obvious.

Thanks
Adam

In my Experience a fast pass is never needed for philharmagic.

It is a quick turnover attraction.
The Theatre that the show is in is massive, so holds 100s of people per showing.
The most you will have to wait is the time it takes the current show to finish...which I would say is 10-15 minutes.

There may be odd exceptions, but we must have done this show 20 times at least, and never waited long.

Thanks Beccas Dad - this is what I thought. But looking at booking fastpasses around mid May and there are none. I was wondering if there is some refurbishment planned?

Just looking at fastpass availability and Philharmagic is standby only until July. Does anyone know why? I know you don't usually need a fastpass but is it closing for a refurb as I know I've heard it mentioned that they might be changing it and adding stuff to it sometime?

It is open as normal. I imagine they are revamping the FP+ entrance outside so cannot use it.

Not that it is ever needed as you end up in exactly the same place the standby goes into.

Yes they are doing a refurbishment on TOT, whilst they are not closing it completely they have one drop tower closed, the other is open. When they finish that one they will swap over. This means they are running at 50% capacity which leads to a corresponding reduction in FP availability
