Every time I go on to the website the availability is changing. If there are no standard rooms at CSR I might just leave it.

Because of the availability changing around so much, I am going to look online next Thursday - if they have what I want, I will book, if they don't, I will check back in each day until booking opens for a few other hotels in the general area of Disney that I am keeping an eye on and will make my decision then.
For me, free dining isn't really a deal breaker as we have never stayed on site before and on this, our 10th visit, it would be very nice to have, convenient, a novelty to experience on what will probably be my last visit with DS.
I know for others it is a make or break scenario.

Still trying to weigh up if it’s cheaper to go with CSR and upgrade to DDP or go with somewhere like Pop Century and upgrade to DDP...

I think I’ll have to wait and see what’s available and crunch some numbers.

Also still can’t decide if I’d rather go for May or September.

I’ll be happy once Thursday is here to see how room availability looks

I'm torn! To book free dining at a moderate in July or go on original dates in October and stay at a value without free dining. Does anyone know if flight prices are much different for those periods? I'm swaying towards October without free dining. Too many decisions!

On release day last year, for my dates, CSR only had preferred rooms however standard rooms showed up after a couple of weeks. Just keep checking.

Is the clamour to book on the day all hype?
Will I miss out if I wait a while... is it at all possible that some prices may come down or certain room categories can reappear in a few weeks?
Or do I really need to book ASAP or miss out?

I would say if you see what you want at a price you want to pay then book it

I waited until I got all my quotes in and then booked when I was happy with the price.

If you're after a standard room, I would book asap as that's the category that tends to get booked up!
