Oh I love that they have their own stash of pennies in the machine! My daughter loves pressed pennies and is really excited about getting some in Florida, Tim Tracker often shows them in his blogs so she has a list of where she wants to get them from!

I think you can ask in City Hall and they give you a list of where all the pressed penny machines are... especially good if you are looking for a particular character. 🙂

OP, have an awesome time. 😎

You can also use 10p coins as they are the same size as a quarter.

I did a quick Google and you can find PDF 'pocket size' documents that list where every machine is and each of the characters on them.
Handy to put in a wallet or purse.

The penny collection case we bought from Animal Kingdom Lodge. but a lot of shops around the parks sell them too.
We also bought a starter pin pack from the Character Warehouse, but didn’t trade and just collected a few - one young guy gave us an Alice in Wonderland one to go with our bag, just randomly on the boat one day (really kind). On the Disney Dream they do trading with the officers and We turned up quite late (we’d never done it before so didn’t know how it all worked). Got chatting to a couple of the officers and they just gave us 2 special, brand new DCL officer pins!

If you search coin press on the MDE app it shows you the locations

The wallets are sold most places and there are 2/3 designs. A princess one, a tinker belle one and a Disney character one

I bought a selection of pins from eBay for anything from £1-2.50 and my DD has about 16 on her lanyard. We bought a new lanyard last year but she just swaps the same pins year on year, we don’t collect to keep it’s just something for her to “do”
She loves it though.

Most of the coin press are 51c,
Some are quarter press machines that cost $1.25 but there are some that are new (like in pandora) and I think they are $5 by card and you get 8 coins ( cents) but I could be wrong there as we don’t do those. DD loves loading the pennies and cranking the handle or pressing the selection button and wouldn’t get the same satisfaction from using contactless to pay.

Actually I looked today, it’s $1 for 1 pressed penny or $5 for all 8

There are more and more of these which I hope isn’t a sign of things to come as $1 vs 51c is quite the uplift and makes this a more expensive activity to do.
